NAME i'm slatefur. it's great to meet you; i hope we'll get along well!

RANK a warrior, and i worked hard to get here.
APPRENTICE i'm definitely not ready yet; i don't have one.
AGE 26 moons. still young yet.
DESCRIPTION tall and friendly gray tabby tom.
APPEARANCE despite his modesty, slatefur is a rather handsome young tom. he's quite tall, and broad in the shoulders, with a muscular build due to his hard work. his paws are rather large, with long, curved claws that are a great asset to him in both battle and hunting. slatefur's sides and front legs are peppered with small scars, and he has a couple of nicks in his ears, as well as one particularly large scar running down his back. he moves with purpose and surety of his movements, with a wide gait typical of someone used to managing his height. his amber eyes are clear and often glint with humor, going well with his voice, which is warm and deep.
PERSONALITY friendly and optimistic, slatefur is really your average nice guy. he likes friends, clanmates, and just plain being a warrior; it doesn't take a lot for him to be happy in life, and he shows it. he's very much a people person, so he spends most of his time out on patrol, chatting, or helping out others around camp. he never complains about any of his duties, as he takes his responsibility as a warrior very seriously.
slatefur is a very strong believer in starclan. he has high respect for his warrior ancestors, and says his prayers to them every time he hunts. he also very much respects their wisdom and guidance, and thus is always respectful of the medicine cats and of starclan-imposed rituals, such as gatherings and visits to the moonstone. he follows the warrior code to a t, and respects both the leader and the senior warriors.
being such a personable guy, slatefur makes a lot of friends no matter where he goes. he has a lot of rounds to make at gatherings, greeting all his pals in the other clans, and can often diffuse conflicts on border patrols due to his friendships outside thunderclan (others like having him on patrols because of this). however, at the end of the day, slatefur's loyalties always lie with thunderclan, and he knows this firmly. he wouldn't hesitate to fight his friends for the well-being of his clan. he has a cool head and sharp claws in battle, though he doesn't much like being in a leadership position. giving orders makes him uncomfortable, though he'll do it if he has to.
HISTORY slatefur doesn't talk much about his past. he was very deeply in love with a beautiful she-cat when he was younger, but she died tragically. it's a painful topic for him, so he avoids it if he can.
