RANK I have been a warrior for a while now, and I feel like I deserve something more.
APPRENTICE None as of yet.
AGE Fifty one moons/Four years, three months.
DESCRIPTION A long haired ginger and white she-cat with cold blue eyes.
APPEARANCE Set here. Amberfur is strong, steady and capable. Not particularly stocky, but it is clear that she is a warrior born from warrior stock. She has been fighting for her clan for a while now, and has earned herself plenty of scars along the way, none of which she is ashamed of because she believes they show her strength, dedication and capability. Long, ginger tabby tendrils cover her muscular frame, paler on her nose and chin, as well as down her throat, chest and underside. She carries herself with pride, her gait fluid and her strides strong.
PERSONALITY Amberfur has little time - and patience - for anything other than work. She is happiest out patrolling, or hunting, or doing something productive. Even when she sleeps she is restless, and many cats that find their nests too close to hers end up getting batted at or struck at accidentally in the night. Because of this, the ginger she-cat will often move her nest as far away from the others as possible, and sometimes won't even sleep at all, instead sitting outside the den or going off on a solitary patrol. She enjoys her independence, and isn't particularly talkative or charming, preferring to spend time alone than socialize with others. In meetings, she will speak when spoken to or if there is a pressing need to intervene into a conversation with her own input, but for the most part she will simply regard others with what could easily be interpreted as a steely glare. It would be easy for other Shadowclanners - and other cats in general, especially younger ones who are not accustomed to Amberfur's mannerisms and frosty, no-nonsense demeanor - to assume that the distinguished warrior is grumpy and mean, but that is not true, not for the most part anyway. She is simply reserved, and chooses not to waste words when they are not required. Whilst she is a stern female that does not tolerate the shirking of duties or disrespect from young warriors or apprentices, Amberfur possesses a surprising amount of patience, something that will only be shown if you deserve it. The she-cat is rather guarded, especially as far as personal matters are concerned, as an event that happened a long time ago has left her especially cautious when it comes to romance. Friendships are one thing - if you are tolerable, sensible and not a member of a clan that is enemies with Shadowclan, Amberfur will more than likely warm up to you after a while - but romantic relationships are definitely another. There is always the possibility that the right tom could get her to let her guard down a little, but it would take time, patience and a whole lot of chemistry.
HISTORY She doesn't really talk about it. Nothing particularly bad happened, she's just a very private cat.
