Hello everyone! I just want to let you guys know that being a Clan leader is still a lot of responsibility. I'm not trying to say you shouldn't be a leader - it's encouraged to fill up those leader spots - but make sure you're capable of everything a Clan leader must do. As a Clan leader, it is your responsibility to review and accept character biographies of cats in your Clan, and update your Clan's allegiance board regularly. Leaders are technically not staff, but they are allowed to move threads from one place to another, and modify other people's threads. You must carefully review each character biography in the rough draft section - however, you are only allowed to accept and review biographies for cats in your own Clan. For example, if you are leader of ThunderClan, you shouldn't be reviewing the biography of Shadepelt the ShadowClan cat, you should be reviewing the biography of Mousetail the ThunderClan cat. Of course, the staff and board moderators are also allowed to accept threads from any Clan and update the allegiances, but you should still keep an eye out for new character threads that need to be accepted (or denied). To accept a character bio, simply respond saying something like, "Your cat has been accepted." Then scroll to the bottom of the thread, and look for "move topic" in the Admin Functions bar. Then move the bio to the appropriate Clan sub-board in the "accepted cats" board. After that, make sure to update your Clan's allegiances with the cat's name, link (optional), a small description, and (if any) apprentice name.
It is vital you understand this because staff are busy enough trying to manage the site, so it's always handy to have Clan leaders help out. Of course, we'll be here to help you out, too, if you ever need it. ^-^
